Hormone Therapy in Pensacola

Hormone-related care as part of your primary care at EliteRx: hormone replacement therapy for men and women, guided by real lab work and a provider who reviews it with you. Don't chase a number. Understand the whole picture.

Or jump to what you need
Our approach

Labs first. Treatment second. Monitoring always.

Search "optimize my hormones" and you will drown in supplements, at-home test kits, contradictory "optimal" numbers and someone's brother-in-law's protocol. Almost none of it starts where it should: with knowing what is actually going on inside your body.

Hormone therapy at EliteRx starts with comprehensive lab work and a provider who sits down and reviews it with you. Sometimes the labs confirm what you suspected. Sometimes they point somewhere completely different, and the fatigue or the weight or the low drive turns out to be something other than the hormone you were sure about. Either way, you find out before anyone prescribes anything.

That is the whole philosophy: don't chase a single number off a chart. Understand the whole picture, treat when the picture supports it, and keep monitoring so the plan stays right as your body changes.

What's involved

What hormone therapy at EliteRx includes

A real clinical process, not a membership card and a standing order.

Comprehensive lab work

Hormone panels and the supporting labs that put them in context, ordered by your provider through Fullscript, drawn at Quest, and reviewed directly with you.

Provider evaluation

Your symptoms, history and goals read against your actual results, so any decision to treat is based on the full picture rather than a single value.

Individualized treatment

When therapy is appropriate, a plan built for you, with the form and dose matched to your situation and explained in plain terms before you start.

Ongoing monitoring

Follow-up labs and check-ins to confirm the plan is working and stays safe, with adjustments as your body and your levels change.

Coordinated care

Because primary care, medical weight loss and labs live under one roof, your hormone plan is coordinated with the rest of your health, not run in isolation.

On-site fitness

EliteRx has a fitness area inside the clinic, so the lifestyle side of hormone health is something your team can actually help you act on. Hormone therapy isn't a separate side business here: it's part of the same medical practice managing your primary care, weight, labs and physical progress.

For men

Testosterone & men's hormone therapy

Low testosterone is common, treatable, and frequently either over-sold or ignored. EliteRx does neither.

Men come in with the familiar list: low energy, low drive, brain fog, trouble holding muscle, weight that will not move, flat mood. Sometimes it is low testosterone. Sometimes it is thyroid, sleep, stress or something else. The only way to know is to test.

The evaluation follows the current clinical standard: symptoms plus consistently low testosterone confirmed on repeat morning testing, a look at the underlying cause, and monitoring after any therapy begins. When treatment is appropriate, options can include testosterone injections and compounded trans-scrotal testosterone cream, along with HCG and other fertility-support options and estradiol management when clinically indicated. EliteRx commonly divides testosterone injections into smaller doses, often given under the skin three times a week, to smooth out the peaks and troughs, with dose, route and frequency individualized. EliteRx does not offer testosterone pellets.

Testosterone therapy is a well-established treatment for the right patient. It also carries real considerations and requires follow-up, which is exactly why the labs-and-monitoring approach matters more here, not less. The workup can look at SHBG, thyroid function, prolactin and other factors that affect how hormones behave, and ongoing care includes monitoring things like hematocrit, fertility, prostate symptoms, cardiovascular risk and sleep-apnea risk.

For women

Women's hormone therapy

Perimenopause and menopause are not something to just get through. There is real, current medicine here.

Hot flashes, night sweats, disrupted sleep, mood changes, brain fog, libido changes and changes in body composition can all bring women into the clinic during perimenopause and menopause. But not every symptom is caused by hormones, and hormone therapy is not a treatment for every symptom on that list. Hormone therapy is particularly well established for bothersome menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and night sweats, while the rest of the picture still deserves an individualized evaluation.

The guidance here has genuinely moved. In February 2026 the FDA updated the labeling on menopausal hormone therapy, removing certain older boxed-warning statements about cardiovascular disease, breast cancer and dementia after a fresh review of the evidence. Research the FDA cited found that women who start hormone therapy within about ten years of menopause, and generally before age 60, saw benefits including reduced fractures. It represents an important change in how the risks and benefits of menopausal hormone therapy are communicated.

It is still individualized medicine, not a blanket yes. Depending on your situation, options can include estradiol patches, individualized compounded estradiol preparations, oral or vaginal micronized progesterone, testosterone cream, and low-dose testosterone injections for appropriately selected patients, with cyclic or continuous progesterone regimens. Abnormal uterine bleeding is evaluated properly rather than by adjusting hormone doses without investigating the cause, which may mean a pelvic ultrasound, a gynecology referral or endometrial assessment. The point is that the conversation is finally an honest one: real benefits, real considerations, decided with a provider who knows your labs and your history.

Monitoring always

Safety doesn't stop at the prescription

Writing the prescription is only the beginning. The medicine is in what happens after: confirming appropriate levels before treatment, watching how your body responds, repeating the right labs and adjusting the plan over time.

Hormone therapy can affect more than one system, which is why appropriate follow-up matters. At EliteRx, ongoing monitoring is part of hormone care rather than an afterthought. Follow-up labs and check-ins keep the plan effective and safe, and your provider stays grounded in current evidence.

Panels & pricing

What the labs and visits cost

The initial hormone consultation is $169. Hormone evaluation and follow-up care are provided within EliteRx's comprehensive medical-care model, and discounted membership pricing is available for EMS personnel, firefighters, military members and law-enforcement officers.

The typical initial male hormone panel is $155 and generally includes a CBC, comprehensive metabolic panel, total testosterone, SHBG, TSH, LH, FSH and a lipid panel. Free testosterone is calculated by the provider to reduce the errors that can come with some direct free-testosterone assays. For women, progesterone is added when clinically appropriate, and estradiol or additional thyroid and hormone testing may be ordered based on symptoms, history and goals.

The typical follow-up hormone panel is $125 and generally includes a CBC, comprehensive metabolic panel, total testosterone and SHBG. These are starting panels, not rigid protocols: a patient with thyroid disease, for example, may also need free T3 and free T4. Your provider decides what's needed based on your history, symptoms, medications and risk factors. All results are reviewed by your provider before your appointment.

Common questions

Hormone therapy FAQ

You do not know from symptoms alone, which is the point. Fatigue, low libido, weight changes, mood changes or poor sleep can come from hormones or from something else entirely. The process at EliteRx starts with lab work and a provider evaluation, so treatment is only recommended when the testing and your symptoms actually support it.

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) uses hormones chemically identical to the ones your body makes. Both bioidentical and standard therapies treat the same symptoms. The FDA notes that being labeled "bioidentical" does not by itself make a product safer or more effective, and there are FDA-approved options that are also bioidentical. Your provider will explain exactly what they prescribe and why.

For appropriately selected patients with confirmed low testosterone and symptoms, it is a well-established treatment. Like any medication it has risks and requires monitoring, which is why EliteRx confirms low levels with repeat testing, evaluates the cause, and follows your labs and symptoms over time rather than simply prescribing.
